When i click the bottom right of the screen in specific, the game closes

When I hover over the bottom right it becomes the regular computer cursor, and it says that the resolution isn't high enough. The problem is that the box is over the check button in settings so i cant change the resolution ingame. I play on an elitebook

you can start the game in windowed mode in Origin

1.  In Origin, right click on the game tile „Spore“ and choose Game Properties.
2. Add -w to the Command Line Argument field.
3. Hit Apply.
4. Start the game.
