I tried making a turn-based RPG adventure but the method of attack I used, dropping short fuse bombs didn't set them off. How do I make bombs that harm npcs?

I figured out that I needed to get them to pick it up, now to craft an adventure based around these mechanics, perhaps a space theme would be good...
