Visiting friends, rearranging town disabled

Hi, I'm having issues with tapped out--the options to visit my friends and to move/alter things around in my town are unavailable to me. When I log in on my device with someone else's id, everything works fine. Deleting and reinstalling the app hasn't worked. Thanks!

Can you tell us a little bit more about the error your see? Are you able to tap on the icons with Bart and Milhouse and the hammer and saw? Do you get an error message after tapping the icons?

Hi Ursula,
There are no error messages, I simply cannot tap on the Bart/Milhouse or the 2 arrows icons--they are dimmed out; I can tap on the hammer/saw icon. When my friends login in to their accounts from my device, their game works fine.
