Spore: Network Play Disabled

Whenever I try to log in to Spore, I get the error "Network Play Disabled". I cannot go online.

How do I fix this?

Make sure you install all patches

If you used Windows Firewall or Defender, this often blocked Spore. In many cases, it helps when you disabled during the game session
