I'm on MacOS Mojave (10.14.6), and have been able to play Spore successfully by following the advice on this forum and running cider_noui. However, I just bought Spore Galactic Adventures today, and when I run cider_noui in the Galactic Adventures folder, it just starts up the base game, with no signs of the expansion.
I've already tried reinstalling both Spore and Spore Galactic Adventures and repairing both through Origin, but nothing has worked so far. I'm very disappointed because Galactic Adventures was more expensive than the base game ($30 vs $20), and it doesn't look like I can get a refund because apparently the game doesn't have the "great game guarenteed".
I saw one post talking about this issue, but they were left unanswered. Has anyone here figured out how to run Spore Galactic Adventures on Mac?
