I'm getting the same error message: "There was an error connecting to the spore servers. Your computer might be offline or your internet connection may be having problems. Check your connection or visit Spore.com for additional assistance or server status" every time I try to log on in game, but I can log onto spore.com just fine. I've already opened the ports listed in this thread, any ideas?

Delete the prop.file, may help this already!
To fix this issue, try browsing to the Spore folder and remove the login.prop file by following the instructions below:

what do you do when it says "The email adress does not match anything in our systems. please try again; if you continue to have problems please contact customer support,"?

The only thing my game says is (Unknown error). Is it because I have spore on STEAM!?!?!

Complete error message would be this one! > An unknown error has occured during registration. Please try again
If Spore has been purchased through Steam, you need to register in Origin, otherwise you can't play online.
1.Right click the game in your list and click "View CD Key."
2. A message box will open, says "copy to clipboard."
3.Then open Origin and go to the Origin menu at the top. Select "Redeem Product Code."
4. Paste the code there and say ok.

I too am having this issue. I have purchased the game on disc. I can log in online but not through the game. This is becoming very frustrating. I have full internet access but it says that I don't. So far I have had every logon issue that has been reported. I have done all the steps that have been advised to repair the issues but now can't logon to the servers. Please help!
