Not able to access store

For a little over a week now I have not been able to get in the store to get donuts. I will select the store and the message "retrieving store" will come up but it never brings me to the store.

Hi driccardo,

Have you tried closing the game app from the multitasking menu and then reopening it. Make sure that you have a strong internet connection. 

Just in case - here's how to close the app:

• Exit The Simpsons: Tapped Out
• Double-click the home button on your device to bring up the multitasking bar at the bottom
• Tap and hold the Tapped Out icon until you see the red "minus" button
• Tap the red "minus" button to close the app

Did you update your game and iOS to the latest version?

I have been playing Tapped Out on my iPhone 4 for a few days now and wanting to progress. I can not buy any donuts though. I get the store screen, can see the options to buy donuts but selecting any of the items does not buy any donuts. I currently have 12,000 credits but am still unable to buy.  Any suggestions?
