MAC- just bought, can't log in

I chatted with support and finally was told it's an old game and likely doesn't work on mac anymore.  Tried 2 different computers.  Totally locks up computer at login other then can move mouse.  Can't type login information and have to reboot to get out of the screen.  This shouldn't be sold anymore to mac users if it doesn't work.

Thats correc,t Spore is an older game, it cannot handle HD resolution

Launch Spore switch to the window mode with ⌘ and Enter.
Navigate in Spore to graphics settings and select the correct screen resolution
