(MAC) SPORE - "Exception raised"

I bought Spore almost a year ago, and the problem raised then, but having trouble finding any solutions, I ignored the problem and the game entirely. Now, I'm annoyed with it again! The following message comes up when I try to run the game from the Origin App on my MacBook: "Exception raised. Unhanded page fault on read access to 0xcb6c5fdc at address 0x0100f276. Do you wish to debug it ?" What do I do? I'm no tech expert, so keep the answers simple! :D

Hi @Plaerke09,

Click on nej and follow these steps

Go to"APPLICATIONS" click on the "SPORE" folder
Make a right click and select "SHOW PACKAGE CONTENTS"
Click on the Contents Folder
Afterwards on the MacOS Folder and with double click select either cider_noui

Mac users know what happens then. The game will launch automatically!

@Freggi-Liz I installed Both Spore and Spore GA since the Spore GA cannot start without the Spore. When i started the Spore GA using its cider_noui. this "exception raised" message comes up over and over. But when i start the original Spore using cider_noui,it worked just fine.my machine has MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 . need some help...cuz i cannot refund the game ...
