Cant register my Old Cd Keys

I have owned Spore and GA for several years before Origin was required and when I went to register the cd keys in Origin so that I can actually login into my game again, the keys were treated as used. Short of having to buy new copies of the game us there anything I can do? The error message I get is the error with the servers or internet connection one
