Can't redeem code from CD

I'd like to update Spore, but can't seem to link it to Origins. I have the CD version, and whenever I try to redeem the code, it says the code has already been used. How can I fix this?

Older game like spore can often not be redeemed through Origin.
In this case, feel free and contact a game advisor, he will help you to manually link the game to your account
