Stuck on loading screen for multiplayer pvzgw2

Every time i load up a multi-player match on Plants vs zombies garden warefare 2 it shows the map im loading into but then get stuck on a black screen with the sunflower on the bottom right. Its sends me back to the backyard saying iv been timed out....
Im on xbox one.
