Pea hyper speed and engineer jackhammer skill crashes my game

every once and a while when i hit either the peas hyper skill or the engineers jackhammer skill my game crashes. i thought i had seen this problem mentioned and was a known issue. i was playing last night as a pea and hit the hyper speed and the game crashed.  i haven't tried it yet with the current update. i am hoping its fixed, but from the look of the patch notes, its not been addressed... any help would be appreciated. these are my 2 favorite classes in the game and i cant play them to their fullest

I just started trying to master my peashooters. When I respawn and use hyper, it is an instant crash. I haven't had this issue in the first game, so no clue why it's happening in the second game. I haven't played engineers recently, so I haven't experienced the crash with them yet.
