Having to select Character when Firat Apearing in Back Yard

A bit of a bizarre irritation...

when I load GW2 I appear as the last character I used.

However, about half the time, as soon as I start to move I am immediately into the character selection (normally zombies even if I started up as plant)

its not a biggie, but a bit irritating.

im suspecting it’s a bug as it’s not all the time - as I say about 50-50.

Must pay attention and see if it’s after profile cas been changed to hubby, but don’t think so (?)

For me that happens 90%+ of the time, started around the same time they moved Rux.

I do get this occasionally, and I'm frequently swapping between accounts, I think you might be on to something @MoggyMama.

This issue has been present and unresolved for months now.  It occurs reliably depending on which side you spawn in on upon starting the game.  I have zero hope that it will be fixed as it has been unaddressed for several patches now.  It is impossible that the developers are unaware of it.

It is only a minor inconvenience, so I tolerate it without complaint.  But I doubt it inspires confidence among newer players wondering why such simple issues go unresolved.
