Halloween Bat 2018 will not show up!

Every day in October, my son, my wife and I have tried to find the bat on our separate accounts. He has not shown up yet. Is he bugging in the system? We all go into the middle ground where he was last year!

No bat this year.

All we are being offered is to buy the previous year's items at, I believe, 150K per hat from RUX.  I find it to be an obnoxious coin grab, however some of them are among the coolest hats in the game, and I'll buy a couple on my low level account probably.  I did buy Bactus already.
