EA Access

Do you need EA Access to play the game? My girlfriend bought the game and played it without issue the first time she tried, but we have not been able to start the game since. There is a message that comes up saying we need to renew a membership (either Xbox Live, which I have, or EA Access). It seems weird to me that we would need EA access to play the game considering she paid for it in full. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

@LORD_Wellsy Do you have Xbox live on the account the game is being played on? Did you previously play the game through EA Access?
