Can't "Start the magic" in the gnome room

So i collected all the gnomes, got in room, open chest, tried to play gnome song, nothing. How do I fix this?

You don't mention figuring out how to get to the second gnome room and solving the puzzle.  Have you done that?

Did that, i went all the way through got the hat and everything

That's really weird.

Anyway, if that's the worst bug you've got going on, it's not so bad.  Trust me, you would only turn this thing on once and that would be it.  Sorry, though!

Ok I do admit, I did that glitch with the imp and went throught the wall, that was months ago, and the gnime song played, recently I did it legitimately, and I went in, everytime I press it it make the sound of static. Did i break it?

Who knows - maybe?  Look on the bright side, many players have a glitch where the game does not recognize that they collected all the gnomes, and they can't even get the chests.
