sims will not perform ANY action, gets frozen.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Bantu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just launch the game and tell a sim to complete a task.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens. The sims, animals, wildlife, and NPCs are all frozen in one spot. Kid never comes from school.
What do you expect to see? The game to … run??
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Bought cottage living.

@LizBuilds How big is your save game ? Do you have lots of empty households in your household manager ?

I'm having this issue too.  I'll give a sim a task and they seem to get stuck and won't do anything.  I usually have to reset them to get them moving again.  I checked the household manager and I do not have any empty households.  My save file is 20 mg, so not too big. 

The queue has been having issues for a long time and seems to keep getting worse.  It really needs to be looked at.  If another sim is going to talk to my sim, it should show in the queue so I know why my sim is just standing around.  If I cancel something in the queue, my sim should not do the thing I cancelled.  If I tell my sim to do something, it should not cancel from the queue by itself.  

This new issue seems different but I felt the need to vent about the queue in general.

I have the same issue. I cannot even progress through time, the clock doesn't move, even after using the keyboard numbers and click on the play speeds. My chickens are moving and the cows that are sleeping in the barns have the moving zzzs, but that is it.

Today's patch seems to have helped this issue.
