"Tiberian Historian" Achievement Not Tracking Correctly

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Check your achievement progress and bonus gallery to see if they match up
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to earn the achievement "Tiberian Historian"
What do you expect to see? I expect the achievements to track correctly

I just completed every single mission in Tiberian Dawn. Doing this also unlocks all 87 bonus gallery content. I have all of them unlocked but my Steam achievement progress tells me that I only have 52/87 unlocked

There is a potential workaround (not a fix as it requires playing the mission(s) again that the achievement is missing, after deleting the file which tracks ingame progress). I posted it in this thread:
