Do Respawn actually give a crap about its community. I blue screened on the match where I levelled up so I didn't get the trophy. As I used to Blue screen every 2/3 matches. Seems more stable now although Ive stopped playing it regularly until this is patched. I mean its one line of code, check users level on lobby screen and award the trophy.

 

Call of Duty did this when their "win" trophies were glitched on Blackout. After a patch, you got them once you logged in. Simples...

Same here on Xbox One. Crashed mid match and I logged back in and apparently I had leveled to 50 during it. No achievement.

This unlocked for me today with the Season 2 patch. Popped after my first game of the day, didn't need to level up.

This was fixed for XB1 users via the patch notes:

 

  • [X1 only] Fixed bug where players were not being rewarded “The Player” achievement after hitting level 50. If you have reached level 50 and not received it in the past it should now be awarded retroactively.

The new season update fixed the achievement! All I had to do is complete a match and end up on the xp rewards screen. It popped as soon as it loaded.
