What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Nothing.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Little to no impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? It keeps telling me that I have a new skin for Wattson, but when I go into the skins menu there's no new skin.
What should be happening instead? The red dot saying that there's a new skin should go away.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Don't know.
This has been a thing for me for a long time (can't exactly remember how long) and I'd just like it resolved. It's not really causing any problems, but it's still quite annoying.

Are you running Apex Legends through Steam, or do you launch it through the Origin client?

There are a couple things I'd like to try which may help with this. First, if you haven't already, can you try repairing Apex Legends in the Origin client? If you right-click on the game in your Origin Library you'll see a Repair option when the menu comes up. Please give that a shot and see if it helps clear the notification.
If it's still happening after that, it may also be an issue with the cached data in the Origin client itself. Try clearing out the Origin cache as well to see if that makes a difference. You can find more details on how to clear it over at the EA Help website. Let me know if you're still seeing the same issue after that.
