punching while shooting allways kill my legend

Change the button layout so that you melee with the down button on the d pad. The issue is that you're getting too excited during a fire fight and pushing down on the R3 button causing you to stop shooting and punch. Happened to me all the time.

Remove R3 Melee and test it!
Get used to your new controls and then tell me if you punch or not.
I suggest R3 interact/loot/revive or
R3 Crouch (but on Hold)

R3 Down (extra character action) might show a quip wheel if you hold down R3 by mistake so i'm not sure if this will work.
