i get code:net in season 4 ranked and still get penalized

What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever i get the code:net error, i'm taken back to the main menu and usually can't login. Will have to restart the game and get an abandon penalty message
What should be happening instead? I don't really know since this is the method respawn took for ranked punishment
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I really don't know how the bug will be fixed but if there's a way to annhilate code:net i'll be extremely glad, i've lost RP and have gotten a 40 minute ban because of it.
