foods Butter Chicken,Chocolate Mousse,Palak Paneer not showing with CC enabled

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs, all game packs, all stuff packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt to cook any of the new foods Butter Chicken, Chocolate Mousse, Palak Paneer with CC enabled.
What happens when the bug occurs? The new foods that came in the February 21st birthday patch are not available when Custom Content in enabled.
What do you expect to see? all foods in the game should be available even with CC enabled
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The 21st Birthday February patch 25/02/2021.

I went into Game options and disabled CC and the new foods (Butter Chicken, Chocolate Mousse,Palak Paneer) That came with the 21st Birthday February patch were available. When I enabled Custom Content these foods don't show up at all. I'd like to know if this is an isolated issue or a general one?

@FaiyazSims They show all up for me with cc enabled.

Maybe you have some cc that's interfering with them ? Do you have cc food maybe ?

@crinrict I do have food CC. Removed them and still not showing up. It must be specific to a certain CC why the new foods aren’t showing up 😤

Try removing all your mods/cc and check if it's working then (best to test on a new save).

@crinrict No I haven’t, none of the new free foods are showing up in my game 🤔

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I don’t have any food cc but the new foods never showed up in my game. Same thing with the hispanic foods that were added last year, never had those appear either. I have CAS and BB cc and MCCC.

@BumblebeeCat9 Did you try without any mods/cc at all and also delete the cache files after removing them ?

have you done a game repair ?
