That would explain the jump in your ping then. It's due to the distance to the test server. Unfortunately, it sounds like you've already done everything I can suggest. I'd recommend opening a case with an advisor to see if they have any other possible resolutions for this. You can open a case here.

yes i have tried 6 different dns including the ones you have written i am redownloading the game but a this point i have lost money and time played. this is absolutely ridiculous that there is no fix

I have the same error (code:net), it started month ago, when its time to pick character game crushes with code:net error, it makes this game unplayable.Fix it please
