What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. trying to switch menu to duos

What happens when the bug occurs? it kicks me out and says... Error reading pak file "C:Users/Buck/SAVEDG-1/Respawn/Apex/assets/11/promo/dl_promo_week01_rankedarenas.rpak" -- 0x00000026: reached the end of the file
What should be happening instead? load menus and let me in a game
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? idk, i did nothing since the last time i played the game 3hrs before. there are no updates needed, no settings changed, and i even tried validating game files. kind of upsetting ive worked 12 days straight now i might have to redownload the game for 8 hrs on the day i was gonna try to play catch up

@BUCK2613 i decided to take a shot in the dark and deleted that rpak that gave me an error. was able to successfully play the game and i double checked the same folder and it replaced that rpak for me.

guarenteed fix i dont know but it worked for me

Thanks for the update! That does usually help with these .rpak file errors. Glad to hear you were able to get it fixed.

What is the "rpak"

@butters1911 i dont know specifically but if you are having the same issue take a screenshot of the error and follow the folder destinations. like mine is in local C/users/buck/savedgames/respawn/apex/assets/11/promo

altho on the error notice savedgames was labeled as savedG- or something similar
