Xbox game chat bug post update 3/29/2022

Yeah. My fix was just going to PC. My Xbox series X is now completely obsolete for playing Apex with my cross platform friends, because the game chat is a complete disaster. Pc is better anyway, the only downside is the greater likelihood of hackers.

Same memes since the update on the 29th of last month. I CANNOT use game chat as an Xbox Series X player. Everyone always tells me my voice is laggy and cuts out constantly. I can sit in an Xbox party JUST FINE.

I'm having the EXACT same issue, it's killing my ability to play ranked, how hasn't this been fixed yet?

Has anybody confirmed whether it is a controller issue?

I use the Elite controller and I can see that some players on Xbox still have access to in game chat.

I use the elite 2 controller as well. The in game chat still giving issues. It’s the damn recent update that messed it up.

@H3412t If you can see people on Xbox chatting, it will be because it works OK on old gen xboxes.
