Xbox One - Controller Fire Bug on Battlefront II 2017 for Windows 10

Summarize your bug The xbox one controller support for the game will not allow me to use the fire button. I have tried using both the left handed and right handed configurations. Ive tried multiple computers and multiple controllers. I can get it to work a few times if I use the mouse fire button first. However, in campaign mode the fire button never works.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use an xbox one controller on Windows 10 playing the game. Try to shoot someone or something in campaign modes.
What happens when the bug occurs? Gun wont fire.
What do you expect to see? The gun to fire. Same as when you push the mouse button.

This seems to be a windows 10 and xbox one controller firing issue only.

Hey, long time later, but did you ever solve this? Finding the same issue, quite frustrating.

I tried plugging a controller to play some SFA the ither day but my aim started drifting continuously, the controller's buttons funcionts sometimes would change momentaneously to a pattern I couldn't understand, and the stick input seemed to be taken very slowly.

Then I quit the idea of trying SFA (I only play starships with a controller).
