[XB1] 'Write Lyrics' Progress bar decreasing

[ Edited ]
★★ Guide

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.28.72.2300
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? everything up to date (July 10th 2020)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim write lyrics/resume writing lyrics.
What happens when the bug occurs? I had a sim resume writing lyrics and the progress bar (or circle) did decrease instead of increase.
What do you expect to see? The progress bar increasing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Adding Eco and the latest patch.

it also seems to me that writing lyrics/music is taking way longer now or the progress bar might even freeze for some time, but I am not 100% on that, as I haven't been writing music/lyrics in game for some time before today.

Hero
@ra7orrat For me it's going forward in steps. Haven't seen it go backwards.

Guess need a console player to check.

Good Luck

Writing lyrics/music has always been a little glitchy. Odd bumps and jumps in the progress bar.

And it's always taken quite awhile to write them. I usually work on them over several days. You can't expect to write a song as quickly as you might write a book.

I've got a couple musicians in my game who write lyrics/music and I don't think there's been much of a change in the amount of time (long) it takes.

Adding: I will ask one of my grandkids to check this on console.
