Hi everyone, 

I am having trouble with a red dot on my hobbies inside collection. The one you get when receiving a New item. 

It doesn't seem to go away, even when I open really everything  in hobbies.

I cleared my cache. 

Force stop

Clear everything

I even removed the game and reinstalled it

Cleared cache etc again

Removed game

Restarted my phone

Reinstalled game

But the red dot just will not go away

I even opened everything in collections, but still there.

Does anyone have the solutions for me?

I placed the internet hobby desk in storage and now the red dot is gone!

Haven't thought of that🤣

Drat. The red dot does go away when I place the 3-star desk in storage, but it reappears when I put it back. 

And apparently, I've got a lot of duplicates!

I still have it too and now I ignore this red dot. The red dot now appears on both desks when I open the game..... Urgh😳

Placing it in storage does not help either.

I didn't know this was a bug until I saw this topic just now. I can't exactly remember when this red dot appeared and stayed like this but, Im sure that its been there for quite some time. 

Contrary to most of the post here, mine is in the waterfront venue,spa items not on the hobby. I have already viewed the items but the red dot doesnt disappear.

I have this problem with the Internet Icon hobby too and the workaround only works until I close and open the app again. Not sure why this is marked as solved

This workaround doesn't work in my game either. Even with the desk in storage, the red dot appears for the 3 star desk in the internet icon hobby

I also get a red dot in rooms, specifically the L and T-shape rooms

I do not have the rooms and it had been solved. But now it is back and quote annoying.
