Why am I not getting an heirloom after 500 packs?

so my thoughts are that respawn is scamming everyone, and they wanna shut down anyone else who says they arent

Before this could be addressed further, there are two things to check:

One: Have you received an heirloom at any point before this? If you have, then the bad luck protection resets, meaning it is 500 packs since the last heirloom.

Two: Are you counting event packs in your total? If you are, then that’s probably why you are off, as event packs do not count towards the 500, since they roll from a different loot pool that doesn’t have a chance to drop heirloom shards.
