There is no in-game definition for "status" effects, but supposedly they are whatever were applied in the battle, effects that a character did not start with before the battle*. Be the case whatever, General Skywalker's skill is not working correctly or the skill description needs to be updated to clearly state what "status" effects are.

General Skywalker should be removing Supreme Leader Kylo Ren's Mastery Siphon (the blue icon status & its associated effect) when he enters cover as per his ability description: "Removes all other status effects when he takes cover".

* The current in-game implementation seems to agree with this definition as General Skywalker is removing all the other "blue icon" status effects, just not Kylo's.

@LQRDQFMQRDQR Hey, thanks for raising this. I followed up on it with the designers and got confirmation that the blue icon from Supreme Leader Kylo should stay as it is just messaging what has happened to his mastery stat. Hope this clarifies the confusion?

Isn't it a status effect then? You have a blue icon and its associated effect.

Likewise with Offense Down for example you have a red icon (denoting that it is "a debuff", a subclass of status effects) and its associated effect. The skill says "all status effects", not only debuffs and not only those status effects that predate General Skywalker's implementation into the game. I would think your more casual players would have difficult time understanding why the skill's function lacks consistency.
