Cannot claim DC-15LE Explosive shot

Summarize your bug I have completed the challenge for the 150 kills with a DC-15LE to unlock the exploding shot however it says i have completed it but i cannot equip it even tho in the trooper category it says i have completed it and have unlocked it.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Looking at my completed challenges in the career category then going to troopers and scrolling down until you find DC-15LE Sharpshooter and it will also say completed.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot equip the Exploding shot to my DC-15LE
What do you expect to see? Me able to attach and use the exploding shot on my DC-15LE

Summarize your bug I finished the specialist challenge to get the IQA-11 but the challenge is grayed out and I cannot use or claim the weapon. This bug hasn't been patched in 2 years?? People were complaining about this in 20 freaking 18!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just try to get a weapon and then not be able to claim the gun
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot claim the weapon.
What do you expect to see? A claimable gun for my specialist class, or a patch for this godawful bug!

I figured out a fix to these issues. I will tell everyone if EA pays me for my time and effort. Since even they couldn't figure it out ...

I couldn't claim my DC-15LE even had tech support help me and they said they were working on it... Well I figured it out for myself..

You may want to try going in to arcade and equipping just the base gun, going back to the main menu (so it registers your change on the servers) and rebooting the game.  Since all weapon/attachments are unlocked in arcade, this can cause problems with the online play.  Meaning you can equip stuff in arcade that is unavailable in online play.  If you don't change it in arcade, the game gets confused (for lack of a more technical answer) and doesn't allow you to unlock stuff properly online.  Changing to the defaults and rebooting often fixes the glitch.  YMMV, but this has worked for me in the past.
