So recently i updated my game and every time i build a house or edit the flooring outside turns purple. Even with new update, being uninstalled and reinstalled nothing will change. its only flooring outside as well. Help!
this is a known issue on macs. Do you have a mac as well ?

As a workaround you can turn of laptop mode.

Pink trees in fall with laptop mode on PC. No mods/cc, freshly repaired game.
Before with laptop mode enabled. After disabling laptop mode and restarting the game. Same save file.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.55.108.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Together, Seasons, Spooky Day, Bowling Night Stuff, Laundry Day
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play till the end of the Autumn season on Laptop Mode
What happens when the bug occurs? Once the autumnal tress should begin leaf loss, they don't. The instead turn red and maintain their full leaf capacity.
What do you expect to see? The leafs on the autumnal tress should shed and not turn a red color instead with full leaf capacity until the end of the season.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game in autumn with laptop mode on.
What happens when the bug occurs? Trees and most plants are bright red/pink.
What do you expect to see? Trees should be their true color.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Hopefully the image was attached correctly, as you can see the trees in my game are red/pink I have found a temporary solution for this which is turning laptop mode off but I cannot run my game without laptop mode on. I have also already tried factory resetting my game and repairing it.
