Aged up the kitten and it worked, thanks so much!

I recently adopted a dog and went into the change sim to put a collar on him.
When I did, it said I couldn’t approve the changes and exit out of it because I need to “complete all the required fields”
I ultimately found out I need to name the dog breed but I’m not able to click on it to type it in
Any help on this would be appreciated

@GridironGuy88 You can try using the 'CAS Full Edit Mode' cheat as follows:
CAS Full Edit Mode
Fully edit a Sim in CAS, including the option to change traits...
On PC/MAC:
1. In your lot and with your game paused in live mode, press Shift+Control+C to open the cheat console box (upper left of your screen).
2. Type testingcheats on in the box and press enter.
3. Type cas.fulleditmode then press enter.
4. Shift-Click on the Sim.
5. Select the option “Modify in CAS” on the pop-up pie menu.
Edit to add Console directions (thanks, @PoptartJuniper)...
On Console:
1. To open cheat bar:
Xbox: Press LT + RT + LB + RB at the same time
PlayStation: Press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 at the same time
2. Type testingcheats on in the box and enter.
3. Type cas.fulleditmode then press enter.
4. Shift-Click on the Sim:
Xbox One: Press B + A... press B first, and then A while holding B
PS4: Press O + X... press O first, and then X while holding O
5. Select the option “Modify in CAS” on the pop-up pie menu.

@GridironGuy88 Hi! Just to clarify, are you saying that your adopted dog did not have a breed label? I tested this and didn't have the issue as you described. I first used the likes/dislikes to enter CAS and then I want to Manage Households. Both times I was able to click on the breed label and got the option to change it.
Have you tried both of these options to enter CAS?

@GridironGuy88 That's weird! You may have discovered a bug with adopted pets not having an assigned breed. One suggestion I have is to go to Manage Worlds / Manage Households, save the household and then place them in a new save. Perhaps you will be able to edit the dog's breed and collar then. It may seem a little extreme but if you are able to save and place them in a new save to edit, then you may have to delete them from your current save and add them again to be able to edit the dog's breed / collar. Doing this will remove your current sims' relationships and inventory though. They should retain money, career progression and skills. Be sure to save your progress and then "save as" a separate game in case it doesn't work out the way you want.

@GridironGuy88 I've merged your post into the current bug report for this issue. Please click the "Me Too" button at the bottom of the first post on the first page of the thread.
To get around this you simply need to randomize something on the dog, like the clothing, in order to set it as a mixed breed so you can use the CAS as normal.
