[WORKAROUND] Invention Constructor unusable after Sim died [ Edited ]

In the scientist career one of my sims created an invention on the  Invention Constructor. Then they died without having taken it off the constructor. Now none of my scientist can use the  Invention Constructor and I can't remove the invention either. This is no matter what world I am in. So an essential part of the job cannot be done. How do I remove the invention so that the  Invention Constructor can be used?

Hi @trezrose, 

I've renamed your thread a bit to reflect the issue better and added.

BUT there might be a work around. You can edit the lot with this cheat: bb.enablefreebuild. Try deleting the constructor and replace it with a new one.

Thank you for the help. I didn't know your could free build on the career lots as you can't find them in the worlds. so that was a great solution. I am still learning the game. It fixed the problem it just seemed to be a glitch on that one Invention Constructor. New one works fine.
