pride update broke my game [ Edited ]

The error comes up when I click on the household/ house they live in to start playing. I don’t have a mods folder since I have never had mods. But one of my people from one of my households is missing and I don’t know how to get him back. 

Update: @crinrict actually I do have a mods folder but it is empty except for the resource.cfg

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When I try to load my save..
What happens when the bug occurs? one of my characters disappears..
What do you expect to see? I hope load the game without missing any of my characters...
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
