I saw another post about a similar issue except with a different VR headset device.

I read through the thread but couldn't see a resolution.

When playing the game in VR with a HP Reverb G2 headset there are two distinct video projections.

They intersect partially in the centre.

The game is unplayable.

Is there any way to fix this?

Good to know you didn't have any issues with the same hardware.

Other VR games like Half Life Alyx are fine.

I'm not on the AMD Ryzen Platform and I have the latest BIOS version installed.

I've given up trying to troubleshoot it and i'm writing this one up as a loss.

It wont let me delete the question/thread unfortunately.

Appreciate your response all the same.

Very odd. I don't have such an issue with my Reverb G2 and RTX 3090. Perhaps there are special hardware/software/settings combinations that causes this for some people.

Do you have VR problems with any other games?

Not sure what to suggests since I don't know what you tried to troubleshoot the issue or what your system specs are. Try a different USB port, if you're on an AMD Ryzen platform, update your BIOS to the latest version with the latest AGESA firmware, perhaps try to clean install various drivers, disable/uninstall various software you may have running in the background etc..?

I have a Reverb G2 with an RTX 3060Ti but have never experienced this issue. Are you using Steam as the openXR runtime? I have no idea if that helps but maybe it's worth a try - there are so many systems that are interacting with eachother. You can find it under the Steam VR settings and then developer. Good luck, Squadrons is a blast in VR!

Hi, did it work? I have the Sande issue and will Take a look at steam. This double view occured like in the second or third game. Very annoying. Have a reverb 2 and ryzon chip with 3070 graphic.

I heard that during this transition fron normal to double view the sound was for a short time disconnected. Flight simulator and everything else works fine
