Using bathroom sink to wash dishes and cooking food then eating something else

Sims refuse to use kitchen sink to wash dishes.  Keep going to bathroom sink.  Also, my sim will not eat food she has cooked unless I command her to eat that food.  She will cook food and leave it out on tables, counters, wherever she can sit it.  Then she will get cereal or yogurt out of the fridge and eat that leaving the cooked food to go to waste.

@VVykkyd Could you please edit your post and make this about one issue only ?

You also weren't prompted to fill out the bug report form so hopefully that will work when you edit.
