Urgent Issue: Vehicle tank turrets direction also determines driving direction

Product: Battlefield V
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Please specify your platform model. Microsoft Xbox One X
Which part of the game is the issue happening in? Multiplayer
Which part of the mode? Conquest
Please select your region Europe
On which server did this happen?
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 08/11/18
Summarize your bug Vehicle issue: Platform: Xbox One X Occurs in all parts of the game. All modes (multiplayer, single player etc). There is an option about decoupling turrets in the games options menu, if that's relevant to what i'm discussing. Unfortunately it is also broken as it never changes any aspect of the game. When aiming in a particular direction with the vehicle turret, it also begins to turn the main body of the tank whilst driving towards the direction that the tank turret is facing. This is so horrible and broken. It's really game breaking and ruins the tank game play! It was fine in BF4. Please fix this particular issue asap!
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use any vehicle with a turret (tanks).
What happens when the bug occurs? When looking around with the tank turrets in-game, the tank will automatically start steering towards where you are aiming whilst driving forwards or backwards. The turret rotation should not affect the turning of the tank at all whilst driving. Very frustrating when trying to aim on the move. Hasn't been fixed since the open beta...
What should be happening instead? Not sure if related to a bug in the options menu as has no effect (decoupling). Essentially just make sure turret direction can't affect the driving direction of the tank! Make sure the turret and driving of vehicle is not linked when looking around.

Urgent Issue: Vehicle tank turret direction also determines driving direction

Vehicle issue (Xbox One X):
When looking around with the tank turrets in-game, the tank will automatically start steering towards where you are aiming whilst driving forwards or backwards. The turret rotation should not affect the turning of the tank whilst driving. So when your holding a straight direction on the movement control, then when you aim. It shift the forward direction of driving in relation of the turret direction, this really needs to be fixed! PLEASE!

There is an option in the menu to 'decouple' the turret from the vehicle movement, but it doesn't work.

BF4 never had this issue!

Issue resolved: The option in the menu is not clear and is not set as default. Needs to be made default.

While I agree that the independent turning for the vehicle/turret is better, I'm not sure that it is intuitive for a lot of players, and the default setting may make it easier. This goes along the same lines of other games like Rainbow Six: Siege where the more complex controls (that may make a lot of sense) have the option to be enabled rather than the simpler default actions.
