I have the same issue. 6/5 troopers qualify for the mission, yet I cannot start it.

This bug will affect everyone within the guild, as they won't earn shards due to my inability to complete the mission.

Same problem here, and the Special Mission was the 1st mission I tried to do. Completed other missions after I couldn’t access the Special Mission.

Me too! I'm so close to unlocking IPD, I leveled and geared up my troopers SPECIFICALLY for this battle that I now can't compete in. To level my 4* Magma to 5* will cost 40 shards that I cannot afford.
