It seems like the reflections come from the other side of the river.

And neither mortal sims nor vampire sims have reflections in it.

Is this a bug?

From what I have known, wild water (I.e., rivers, lakes, and oceans) does not reflect everything. It seems like it only reflects backdrop objects, so it is normal for you not seeing reflections of sims or world objects.

Thanks for explaining.

It's weird that this river does reflect the fishing rods and plasma fruits(when a vampire is drinking one).

But the reflections are just showed in wrong places.

Until CL patch the rivers only reflected backdrop objects and the sky appeared black, after it they now reflect lots and the blue sky (sims still missing). Though the reflections system is a bit weird, e.g bouncy reflections, you can reproduce it by playing a bit with the camera.

Yup.
I hope the SimGurus can fix this or just removed the reflections of items which are being used by the sims.
