@MissBMoon Merged your thread. Did you overclock anything on your computer or have a lot of background programs running ?

Thank you for merging, I couldn't find a topic with this issue when I posted.
I only run The Sims 4 like always alone, sometimes with skype running on the background but nothing more apart from Origin, TS4 and the anti-virus (of course :P ).
Like I was reading on this threat it seems my problem is exactlly the same as theirs, so I don't have anything else new to add :/
I've only played with the family I started at the begining although I separeted them into two homes already (too many twins, no space in no time lol). I haven't downloaded any houses, objects or sims from the gallery. I haven't played with any of the others NPC's households yet. I don't use mods, only used "motherload" so I had enough money to build nice homes, but this bug happened even before I used the code. I have all patches updated.
Specs: Windows 8.1 64-bit, AMD A10-5750M with AMD Dual Graphics Radeon HD 8650G + dedicated 8750M (2.50GHz), RAM 8GB with more than 7GB free, more than 800BG free on drives.

Thanks for the extra info. I hope EA can figure this one out soon.

I chatted with the ea customer service and the advisor said that he will forward this problem to the appropriate persons. So I hope that it will be fixed soon.
P.S.: I also wanted to try if starting a completly new game (by clicking on "new game" in the main menu) makes any difference. However, the problem still exists at the new game. So I can confirm (like the other people in this thread already suggested) that it has definitely nothing to do with any save games problems.

Hi,
I've been having the exact same problem for a couple of months now. The "freezes" are becoming more frequent, and are occurring on every lot that I've played. It's making the game almost unbearable to play, as my sims keep getting stuck numerous times during a sim day. Right now, the self-created family I'm playing with spends about a half of the time played being stuck in this "time loop". It's really frustrating! During this freeze the game clock keeps running, sounds come through normally and afterwards the clock reverts back to where the problem begun. The sims keep standing still, and it is impossible to get the sim, the game speed or objects to function.
I'm also playing with a new computer, so I don't believe it's due to processing issues. The game was running fine for a month or so after I purchased it, so it can't be about that. After reading some posts about the same problem by other players, the problem seems to have emerged after the update with the ghosts. I've also tried setting on the laptop mode, turning the graphics to a low mode etc. Nothing helps.
I really hope that EA can get this fixed, otherwise it's becoming impossible to play and enjoy the game I used to love so much.
Cheers.

Just ticked "Me Too", sadly. I've started experiencing this problem after about 90 hours play-time without the issue. Only started happening for me a couple of days ago. Also, not sure if it's a coincidence, but (so far) it only seems to happen to the households I'm playing in Oasis Springs.
Hopefully someone's on the case at EA. It's already become a chore trying to play through this bug.

Has this been fixed? Or any update that they are working on it?

Has anyone found an issue with this yet? Bc I am having the same problem too and it just started happening after I downloaded a house from the EA community within my game, It's really frustrating bc it is happening so much that I am just wasting time waiting for it to unfreeze so I can continue playing. Please someone help!

Do you still have it ?
Nothing in the patch notes but that necessarily doesn't mean it's not fixed.
Good Luck
