The sims treasure hunt bug for expedition market square

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When I open the treasure map and tap on expedition market square to collect my prize it does not collect and I can’t do more expedititions at that location . Please help.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to do the expedition again after an amount of time but the game won’t allow me to complete it.

Experiencing the exact same thing for two days during the Treasure Hunt.

@erindeeznuts Hi, if you’re still experiencing this issue try to restart the app when your sims aren’t in any events. When reopening the game, check if one of your sim is finished with this event and try to claim the rewards. You might have to restart the app several times if the game has lot of past events stacked.

There’s also a possibility that you’ve made a sim passive/retired and that sim is still in this event. You might want to click through your passive sims in the family portrait and possibly retired/removes sims in the generations tab.
