Sul sul,
Today, we are introducing the latest base game update for The Sims 4, and with it the ability to set customizable pronouns for each of your Sims.
We want you, our Simmers, to know that this update is especially important to us because we know it's important to you; this is why we've taken steps like partnering with GLAAD and the It Gets Better Project organizations to make sure that our goal of equal representation is implemented in the best way possible.
Ultimately, we recognize that while this update has been thoroughly tested, there may be areas where your customizable pronouns aren't being applied correctly. This dedicated thread has been created so you have a place to let us know about these instances. If you're running into a situation where the pronouns you selected are not being correctly applied, please use the following template so we can investigate properly.
Update: We are categorizing these issues by where they are appearing for you in game, so if you are seeing multiple instances of incorrect usage across different areas please make a separate comment for each so we can split them off into the correct threads.
Example:
Sincerely,
-EA_Cade
Please note, while we value feedback from our community on all aspects of The Sims, this is not the place to provide it unless specifically related to the topic at hand. Posts in this thread that are not related will be removed.

Sul sul everyone!
If you are seeing multiple instances of issues with the pronouns not applying correctly, please create separate comments for each instance.
Example- If you see an issue with pronouns in moodlets, but also with career notifications, please post two separate comments detailing each issue.
This is so we can split off each comment into the correct thread and further track these issues.
Thank you so much for all your reports so far!

Just wanna say that despite the problems with this update, the sentiment of your original intent is still recognizable. Thank you all very much for adding this feature -- Even today, this kind of genuine all-inclusive acceptance is often overlooked. Not only do we have the option of any pronoun set for any Sim, but we also have the option for custom write-in pronouns. Truly above and beyond.
That being said, there's still a long way to go. I think it's critical that you further add to this feature and allow the player to choose how the family tree will refer to a Sim, as well as continue to pour over the game and correct everywhere that a Sim could be misgendered.

I see this is specifically calling for when incorrect pronouns are being used. Is this also a place where we can comment on the grammar/subject-verb agreement when non-binary pronouns are being used? For example a sim with they/them pronouns getting promoted has a notification that reads, in part: "they has also received the following bonus" when grammatically it should read "they have received..." or when the sim reaches the top of the career the description of their career reads: "everything they touches turns to gold..." when it should read "everything they touch turns to gold..."
I have some screenshots related to this if I'm able to share them some place.

Yes, please provide any grammatical errors you're seeing as well so we can take a look
If you're seeing multiple instances of these errors, please post separate comments and include screenshots in this thread for each instance to help us better track these.

This sim is a child, assigned female at birth, is trans and uses he-him pronouns.
The notification has a mix of he and she pronouns.

Hi @EA_Cade , this is one of the elementary school chance cards-- if it isn't basegame it might be Growing Together?
I have two mods, neither of which add any school/career content or chance cards.
