Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.82.99.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats and Dogs, City Living, Cottage Living, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Get to Work, Island Living, Seasons, Dine Out, Dream Home Decorator, Parenthood, Laundry Day Stuff, Fashion Street Kit, and Incheon Arrival Kit.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After I updated to the newest patch (Nov 30 2021) this happens in all of my worlds and saves. Tried removing all cc and mods but I still have the issue.
What happens when the bug occurs? I am missing most of the terrain paints and roof patterns, including base game. Every bit of dirt on any lot is changed to sand, and if the roof had a texture that is now gone the roof doesn't show up.
What do you expect to see? Most of my terrain paints missing and most of my roof patterns missing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After the Sims 4 patch on November 30, 2021.
This has been happening ever since I updated the game. The only roof and terrain patterns that it shows me are Cottage Living, Eco Living, and Island Living, not even base game. Every bit of dirt or anything is just replaced with sand and the roofs just disappear. This happens with and without CC and Mods in my game. I have restarted, tried using old saves and new saves, tried doing repair through origin, and of course restarting. I really don't want to completely reset my game because I am not sure how to make sure I keep my saved games. I also am playing on a MacBook Air running on Catalina, version 10.15.2. Please let me know if anyone else is having this issue or knows how to fix it!!

HI @madmikegt
Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
Good Luck
Crin
