Take Photo with Tripod not working

I bought the Maschuto pack or whatever and got the tripod. If I choose a sim to take a photo of 2 or 3 other sims, half the time they take forever to actually do it, but eventually they do. But when I do the “take photo carrying” one, I choose the adult and the toddler and nothing happens. The first time, the adult took forever to finally go to stand in front of the camera, and they finally did but the toddler wouldn’t come over. The second time, the toddler did come over and they just stood there in front of the camera. The adult didn’t even pick up the toddler, they just stood there and nothing happens
