Summarize your bug TW matchmaking mismatch. our guild with 78milGP and one member over 3mil was matched with a guild at 131milGP with at least 8 members over 3mil and one over 4mil.

Our guild with 78milGP and one member over 3mil was matched with a guild at 131milGP with at least 8 members over 3mil and one over 4mil.  We were not able to compete at all against this.  They cleared our board very fast, we could not clear a single territory of theirs.  We had 41 signups for TW, squads per territory was 16 so they had significantly less people than us and had a full defensive deployment and were still able to clear our board.  Of our 160 squads deployed on defense, 133 were taken down in one attempt.

We've checked the matchmaking and the other guild had similar active GP as your guild due to much fewer members participating. Additionally, it is not only the GP which is responsible for the matchmaking, there are many other factors. We've checked the matchmaking and it appears to be correct.

We had a very similar matchup and results. 82Mil GP versus 128Mil.  We had similar results where we couldn't crack a single territory and they swept us.  We had 43 members join and had to fill 17 squads per territory. 

Our guild name is The Balance Begins and we were against Canadian Rebel Alliance.  My player ID is 396-993-437.

They stated that gp is not the main factor in determining match ups. But the matchmaking is still horrible as my guild often sees boards like this as well. We've stopped bothering to check enemy gp.

so if a very high GP guild picks half of their members to go into TW they might get matched up with a guild that has 50 members with the same total GP?  This gives the high GP guild a clear advantage.  This seems like saying 4 NBA players against 40 middle schoolers is equal.  I understand there are other factors but the Dev post from CG_RyDiggs on March 16, 2018 12:23AM notes that matchmaking: "seeks to create the most fair matchups, with two primary goals in mind:

• The squad power of participating individuals in each guild should be near the same average power.
• The strongest possible squads of both participating guilds should be near the same average power."

I don't see how those goals were met.  The other guild was able to deploy squads that we couldn't deal with while also fully deploying and they were still able to one-shot 83% of our defensive squads.  They clearly had much deeper rosters.  If the goal of TW is to create a fair matchup where strategy about deploying on defense and coordination within your guild for offense and defense is what it takes to win this didn't meet that.  It would not have mattered at all what we did.

@PsychoDummy Boy, this is as succinct and precise as a criticism can get.

@EA_HighCommand What ever your "other factors" are clearly do not meet your stated goals. This is why getting participation for TW is difficult in a normal guild. We know it is a * shoot so a lot do not even bother with it.
