How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? wish in well
What happens when the bug occurs? woman is given as soul mate even though wisher is a woman who likes men and has never flirted with women
What do you expect to see? a guy
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

The sims does not have gender preference in the game. They're all bisexual, I guess you could say. So using the wishing well, maybe the true desires of your sim are finally out in the open!

as you removed mods, you're not opposed to them so could you add SimsInfo (just google) to your game and check on their hidden gender preference ? The mod can give you information about your Sims if you click on them.

There seem to be some issues with the gender preferences as there's another thread on it (not for the wishing well though) so there might be an issue.
