Swgoh app hangs when resuming from locked screen

What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug The swgoh app hangs everytime I resume from a locked screen if the phone is locked for more than 5min. If I lock my phone and immediately resume, the app won't hang. This is the only app on my phone that has this problem.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? As explained above
Connection Type Mobile
Please select your region Asia
Country Singapore

When the app hangs, it shows either a frozen screen of where I left off or a black blank screen. I will need to manually terminate the app and relaunch.

Hi @Merioon_Valhoun9 and thank you for the report.

 

We have investigated this and it appears the game is not responding after a while on your device, once in the background, resulting ultimately in a crash. This could be a limitation of the device and/or OS.

 

I would suggest closing the game, rather than putting it in the background (that way you are also is saving battery life).

We have investigated this and it appears the game is not responding after a while on your device, once in the background, resulting ultimately in a crash. This could be a limitation of the device and/or OS.
